The Rugby Shop & Arrows Extend for 2 More Years
The Rugby Shop team is thrilled to announce a 2-year extension with the Toronto Arrows as their Exclusive Merchandising Partner alongside the broader partnership with Professional Rugby.
Founder and CEO of The Rugby Shop, Jay Macdonald is proud to continue the relationship saying, "We love everything the Arrows have been doing to support rugby in Canada and to grow the game in general. We are delighted to extend our partnership and look forward to more initiatives. We have worked hard with
the Arrows to create the upcoming 2021 line. The selection includes both cool and warm weather gear and has a mixture of more modern looks with some classic designs for fans who like a more vintage feel".
Bill Webb, President & General Partner of the Toronto Arrows is charged for restart in 2021 stating, “We were obviously very disappointed with the cancellation of the season due to Covid-19, and that we weren’t able to have any fans see our team take the home field this year. However, we know there are lots of loyal rugby folks across this country and beyond our borders who will be wearing the blue and white when we start scoring tries next season. We love working with the Rugby Shop Team, and it’s great to have Karen Lozada as their Director of Sales for Eastern Canada. We know she’s familiar with our staff, players and the fanbase and has a good handle of what our needs are from our
grassroots fanbase up to the elite level athletes and coaches. Arrows Up!”
For Arrows fans, The Rugby Shop has recently invested in our own state-of-the-art production equipment which allows us to produce limited runs with a quicker turnaround time and vibrant, high quality graphics. Later this year, we’ll be consulting with League players like Tayler Adams, Arrows Fly-Half, to help us design limited run items with a little extra character. Tayler has a keen eye for sports fashion, like any self-respecting backline player would, and we’re excited to see some of his ideas come to fruition. We're also setting up a Toronto based fulfillment center to minimize shipping costs and speed up delivery time for the fans in the GTA.
