The Calgary Knights Rugby Football Club formed in 2012, after the long-standing friendly rivalry between the Calgary Police Service and Calgary Fire rugby club, in 2012, those clubs joined forces and became the Calgary Knights Rugby Football Club in 2012 and entered the 3rd Division within the Calgary Rugby Union.

Since the club’s inception, the Knights have had the pleasure and fortune of welcoming many first responders, Canadian Forces members and veterans, 9-1-1 dispatchers and many other who dedicate their lives to helping others. The Knights maintain that ideology but what has changed is the Knights have opened our membership lines to anyone wishing to be a part of a unique rugby program with a unique culture.
